Dare To Be Remarkable
All students and staff at King's Academy Binfield will be challenged to 'Dare To Be Remarkable'. Underpinning this ethos are the core values of the academy which are:
- Determination
- Aspiration
- Respect
- Enthusiasm
These values, developed by staff at KAB, are linked to the behaviour and rewards policies and many aspects of academy life.
These values were also shared with our first cohort of students on the academy induction day in July 2018. The students selected four people who displayed those values, and indeed dared to be remarkable, as their founding House System names. These are Churchill, Curie, Mandela and Nightingale.
Students are rewarded for exhibiting our DARE values as well as our Remarkable Routines.
In order to support our students to ensure that they are truly 'Daring to Be Remarkable' in all they do, we have our Remarkable Routines as seen below:
