Kings Academy Binfield Primary

King's Academy Binfield - Primary Phase

Welcome to King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) where our core belief is that every single student deserves an outstanding education that not only provides the academic qualifications essential for long-term success but also gives them the skills, experience, opportunities and networks to become global citizens with the very best life chances

In September 2019 King’s Academy Binfield primary phase opened its doors to children in nursery and reception. We had a wonderful start with many happy children, parents and teachers. This academic year, we have 5 year groups: Year N, Year R (x 2), Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3.

We have fourteen exceptional and highly experienced teachers, seven of whom work at KAB and seven at King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO). All the children in both primary settings (KAB and KAO) will also benefit from regular specialist teaching in MFL led by the secondary teachers. This will include Spanish from the start of their schooling in either Nursery or Reception and once children enter KS2 they also begin to learn French.

With a focus on developing key learning attributes and dispositions and of course our DARE values of determination, aspiration, respect and enthusiasm, King’s Academy Oakwood is the perfect start to your child’s education.

In our primary phases, phonics is taught through the Read, Write, Inc Scheme.

The deadline for nursery applications for a September 2023 start has now passed.
